Number of GPs International Academy Opportunities Doubles for 2019/2020

December 11th, Waltham, MA, 2018; Global Premier Soccer are proud to announce the expansion of its International Academy Programming from three locations to seven for the 2019/2020 season. Further information at https://www.gps-international.net/residentialsocceracademies.

Hillside Residential Academy located in Marlborough, MA is open to U10-U13 boys and offers an elite level academic and athletic experience at a location renowned for producing high school and prep-school athletes.

The four brand new GPS International Academies, all located throughout Europe, will be open to players U16-U19.

Bracknell Town, in addition to FAB, will operate out of the United Kingdom. Bracknell Town FC are located within the English League Football pyramid allowing the club to act as a stepping stone for players to reach the highest level.

The GPS International Academy Spain, run in conjunction with Valencia CF, is open to both male and female players aged U16-U19. The academy gives players access to professional quality facilities such as La Petxina and the chance to play in numerous competitions against professional and semi-professional clubs.

Opened two years ago, almost 40 players so far have been developing under the close eyes of GPS Spain staff - there are multiple success stories already of players entering the Spanish professional football world. Discover more here.

GPS have partnered with Portuguese second division side Academica De Coimbra for the new International Academy in Portugal. The academy will be based on site at the Academica training headquarters and will be overseen by their academy staff, who have a history of producing professional level talent.

The island nation of Malta will play home to another one of the new GPS International Academies with it being based at the Garden View and St Andrews FC Luxor Complexes. GPS Malta will be headed by former English footballer Dave Rush and will included licensed UEFA staff from Spain, England, and Malta. Due to the small nature of the island, the academy is set to play a plethora of friendlies against 1st division Maltese sides.

Rounding out the list of GPS International Academies is GPS Athens based in the Athenian Riviera. The academy is headed by the GPS Southeastern Europe directors George Tolias and Antonis Vlachos, who both have a history of academy talent being featured in the Greek Super League. Players will have ample chances to impress Super League sides as GPS Athens will partake in numerous friendlies against their academy sides.

The series of GPS International Academies are focused on helping the club achieve its main mission, to help develop and produce players who go on to compete at the highest level possible.
