September 13th, Waltham, MA 2018; Global Premier Soccer are pleased to announce a partnership with the Secondary Schools Football League (SSFL).
The SSFL, which oversees all secondary school play in Trinidad and Tobago, and GPS partnership will be focused on helping to assist players in the league gain scholarships and opportunities to play abroad.
SSFL president William Wallace added, “GPS will provide the SSFL with a consistent and sustainable player pathway through their established US collegiate placement and US private school programmes, which provide a variety of tools to aid players and families in navigating their way through the application and placement process.”
This announcement was made by Neil Holloway, general manager of GPS, during yesterday’s launch of the 2018 SSFL season, at Fatima College, Mucurapo.
“We want a long-standing relationship with the SSFL and the partners of the SSFL,” said Holloway.
Holloway stated at the announcement that the goal is to have a minimum of 40 players enrolled at United States based universities and colleges.
In addition to SSFL players receiving scholarship support, coaches within the organization will gain access to education seminars, clinics and courses.
